Is Birth Plan by Numinest available yet?

Not yet — it is in development and heading for the iOS App Store. Email us and we will let you know the day it goes live. That is the only thing we will ever email you about.

How do I get my birth plan onto paper?

The App generates a single printable page and hands it to your iPhone or iPad's standard print and share sheet. From there you can send it to an AirPrint printer, save it to Files, or share it to your partner or your provider like any other document.

I changed my mind about an answer. Can I edit my plan?

Yes, at any point. Nothing is locked in — you can revisit any question and reprint. A birth plan is meant to evolve as you learn more and talk to your care team.

Where is my data stored? Can you recover it if I lose my phone?

Your answers are stored on your device only. We never receive them, which is deliberate — it is the strongest privacy guarantee we can offer.

The trade-off is real and worth stating plainly: because we hold no copy, we cannot restore your plan if you lose or wipe your device. If your device backups are turned on, your plan is included in those. Otherwise, printing or saving a copy of the finished page is the reliable backup — which is where most people end up anyway.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Something in the app is wrong, unclear, or worded badly.

Please tell us — this is the feedback we most want. The explanations in the app are written to be understandable rather than exhaustive, and we would rather hear that a section reads badly to a nurse, a doula, or a first-time parent than not hear it.

Can I request a refund?

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple, not by us, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, email us as well — we would like to know about it either way.
